FOR THE ACTOR
Don't wait for the perfect role...write it.
Kim offers an eight week TV writing course, tailored specifically to actors, that will help you mine your personal narrative to find the stories you should be telling. You will learn how to break story, structure an outline, and write dialogue. Each week in our three hour class we’ll workshop your writing - utilizing vocabulary, exercises, and concepts already familiar to actors - to shape your original pilot script. In this small class of 8 - 10 students you’ll receive individualized attention in a supportive, constructive environment of fellow actors. Don’t wait for the perfect role...write it.
Fall classes begin Oct 1st!
Your next act!
This class is open to returning students, as well as experienced writers, who possess a strong understanding of structure and story. Continue working on your pilot or start something new. Each week you'll receive feedback on your script, while honing your craft and building your community.
During the fall session, Kim offers three sections of Advanced TV Writing. Wednesdays at 7 pm are open ONLY to returning students. Thursdays at 3pm and 7pm are mixed classes and will include both new and returning students.
Fall classes begin
