TV WRITING FOR THE ACTOR

This class is open to new and returning students.

An eight-week TV writing course, tailored specifically to actors, that will help you mine your personal narrative to find the stories you should be telling (and selling). You will learn how to break story, structure an outline, and write dialogue. Each week you'll receive a video lecture -- utilizing vocabulary, exercises, and concepts already familiar to actors -- to help you shape your original pilot script, then in our weekly three-hour class we’ll workshop your writing. In this small class of 8 - 10 students, you’ll receive individualized attention in a supportive, constructive environment. Don’t wait for the perfect role...write it.
